There is so much advice here on the world wide web telling you how get slim in a week or how to lose a stone in two days. We all have to realise this is not possible, and not healthy!

People must realise they have to change the way they eat and increase their exercise. If you want healthy steady weight loss, there is no answer to how to get a flat stomach in a week.

Once the pounds start to shed increase the stomach exercises and you will see the results. Its down to you, but there many sources of information that can help. So if anyone would ask me how to get a flat stomach in a week I would be delighted to tell them all I know.

Sorry to be the bubble burster but that’s just not the case. There is no machine that will be able to work all of the areas of your abdominals and effectively give you sexy abs or six-packs or whatever you want to call them. Instead of listening to that, here’s how you really get it done.

In spite of people complaining about working out or how there is just not enough hours in a day, there’s plenty of time and more than sufficient time to work out. The key is to do effective and efficient exercises that will target the main areas you need in order to get to those sexy abs.

But keep in mind, your abdominals consist of many muscles in places that may not be easy to reach during most workouts. Ab machines usually only focus on the main ones, lower abs but don’t forget about your upper abs and your obliques for starters. In any case, working out is key, so make time for it.

Here’s the other thing, you don’t need machines. That’s why ab machines are a waste; that and the fact that they don’t work all of your ab muscles. The great thing about your ab muscles is that you work them doing a whole slew of other exercises too and you don’t need machines to focus on your abs. So you don’t have to go out and buy machines and you don’t have to join a gym!

The other half of the equation is your lifestyle in general. By lifestyle, that mainly focuses on your eating habits. Don’t believe what people say that you can have sexy abs even if you don’t eat healthy. That’s a flat out lie. In order to get those sexy abs, you must eat healthy, otherwise your body will not be able to tone up enough where your sexy abs will show up!

Don’t get discouraged though because healthy diets don’t equal the end of great food. If you look hard enough, trust me, there are plenty of great recipes out there that will easily replace the ones you love that are not so healthy. And keep this thing in mind too; you don’t have to cut out that particular not so healthy food all together. You just have to cut down on it but if you can eliminate completely, all the better!

What you will want to focus on is eating quality fresh foods, particularly vegetables and meat. Things that are fried should, of course, be avoided as much as possible, completely if so. Drink lots of water instead of sugar-filled or caffeine filled drinks and, yes, that includes coffee, soda, fruit drinks and even sports drinks.

It really is that simple of an equation: work out and healthy diet. It’s the easiest and simplest and most cost-effective way to lose weight and tone up enough to reveal those sexy abs!
